Itinerary for Calypso Cruise

12:15 – 13:00 From Tuan Chau wharf, Tuan Chau island of Ha Long city, we go to Calypso Cruise by small boat. A warmly welcome drinks will be served upon arrival the cruise then has a short time for check in proceeds: get a brief introduction and safety guidelines then check in
Have lunch while cruising in the magnificent Ha Long Bay, admiring the fascinating nature, then anchor at Lan Ha Bay area.

15:00 Join a guide to explore hidden parts of the bay, the area of Dark and Bright cave where to go through the cave, under the mountain to a lake which is formed by a Karst – well like a dragon eye inside the mountain. This is a very beautiful sight that visitors like the most. You share a sampan with other tourists with a local rower OR take a kayak on your own.
Return to Calypso Cruises for changing swimming suits then join swimming time in the sea or at the swimming pool on sundeck.

06:00 Greet the new day on the sundeck with a tachi session. Enjoy the fresh air on the bay while you unwind with a cup of tea or coffee.

06:45 Enjoy a quick breakfast on board and get your day going with plenty of energy.

07:30 You will join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere. It will take you around 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang – one of the most impressive caves in Cat Ba Island, Vietnam.

09:40 Lunch is served in the restaurant while the boat heads back to the harbor.

11:00 Disembark from the cruise as our crew say farewell, back to Tuan Chau Marina by our speed boat. Then we will return to Hanoi to take a flight to Danang. On arrival at Danang airport, you are met and transferred to your hotel. Then you are free. Overnight in Hoian.

09:00: Arrive at the cable car station Hoi An. Sitting in the cabin, in mid-air, looking upon the endless tree line of the forest. Experiencing the pristine ecological system of the Ba Na Mountain will leave you with a sense of unforeseeable discovery.

09:30: Visit the Le Jardin, old wineries – remains of French Villas and Linh Ung pagoda with a 27m high Buddha statue. Leave Le Jardin for Gare Debay, the second cable car station, to go to the top of Ba Na

10:30: Visit and play games at the Fantasy Park- Ba Na Hills Fantasy Park- the third largest indoor amusement park in the world (only some free games depending on Ba Na policy).

11h30: Have a lunch buffet at Restaurant.

12:30: Conquer the Peak of Chua Mountain at the height of 1,487m. Enjoy the panorama view of the Da Nang from the top of Ba Na Hills. And then visit Golden Bridge.

8.00 – 8.30: our guide picks you up at your hotel and departs to My Son holy land – the world cultural heritage.

10.00: Arrive at My Son and we’ll have 2 hours to discover the site by walking throughout the landscape, learning histories with our local English-speaking guide, and enjoying the Champa’s traditional performances.

11.30: Get back to the minivan and move to a local house to learn how to make rice paper, you will enjoy your own hand-making product later!

12.00: Back to the van and have lunch at another local house. relax with cold herbal tea, nice foods, and fresh air.

13.30: take a boat trip to Hoi An with a nice and cool breeze on boarding, beautiful river scenery on the biggest river in the Central of Vietnam named as Thu Bon River.

Optional tour to Cu Chi tunnels

In the morning, we head to Cu Chi Tunnels which are in an area known during the American War in Vietnam as the ‘Iron Triangle’, on account of the strength of its Communist insurgency. Cu Chi was also the conclusion to many caravan paths that traced down from the Chinese border, across mountain borders with Laos and into the Mekong Delta, which later became known as the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The network, which is several stories deep in some parts, includes trapdoors, living areas, storage facilities, weapon factories, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens.

7h30 AM Our tour guide will welcome you at your hotel before heading to My Tho city. Enjoy the scenery and green rice paddies during the one-and-a-half-hour bus ride. Along the way, we will visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong delta. Continue to My Tho, where we take a boat trip along the Mekong River, where you can see fish cages and floating houses on the river.

The boat takes you to a small canal, escaping the hustle and bustle of the town. We disembark at a coconut island in Ben Tre and enjoy a walk around the village. Stop at a local family home to enjoy tropical fruit, taste the honey tea and honey wine and listen to Vietnamese traditional music performed by the villagers. Check out the coconut candy shop and learn how to make candy, and see handicrafts made from the coconuts.

Take your time snapping photos and enjoy the natural scenery before we head to the local restaurant. Lunch is set with special Vietnamese food. Enjoy your lunch outside under the shade of the trees. After lunch, enjoy your time relaxing, walking around the village, or perhaps going for a short bike ride. Travel back to Saigon and arrive around 5.00 pm for the end of the tour.

The country’s cultural epicenter, riverside Phnom Penh is home to ornate temples, fascinating museums, and fragrant cuisine, all waiting to be uncovered. After your arrival, the rest of the day is spent at your leisure – visit the city’s legendary temples, abandoned centuries ago by the ancient Khmer kingdom or head to the Royal Palace for a glimpse into how the historic nobility once lived. Then you are free.

After breakfast, you’ll have another full day to catch the sights and sounds of Phnom Penh at your leisure. You may choose to discover Cambodia’s tragic past with an optional Killing Fields tour. Begin at Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, used as a prison in the days of the Khmer Rouge regime, before travelling to the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. This poignant memorial sits on the site where over a million people are thought to have been executed during the Khmer Rouge rule. After an authentic lunch at a local restaurant, set off to discover Phnom Penh from a different angle with a cruise of the Mekong River, admiring the city’s architecture rising from the banks as daily life unfolds.

Begin with the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Angkor Wat. Rising majestically from the jungle, this 12th-century Buddhist temple complex spans 400 acres and is rich in archaeological treasures. Unofficially acknowledged as one of the wonders of the world, this incredibly well-preserved site is an architectural triumph.

Continue to Angkor Thom, the last city of the Khmer Empire, whose 12th-century temples and statues are a fascinating remnant of the Cambodian Middle Ages. Explore Bayon Temple, with its collection of smiling stone faces, and explore the hauntingly beautiful remains of Ta Prohm, a 12th-century Buddhist temple reclaimed by nature, with winding vines weaving around its crumbling walls.

To finish the day, climb to the upper terraces of one of the ancient buildings to view the spectacular sunset.
